Repeat Prescriptions

Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made in the following ways: 

  • In person - hand in the right hand side of your repeat list having clearly marked the items required. 
  • By telephone – on 01302 780704 (Scawthorpe) or 01302 787112 (Sprotbrough). Prescription requests are taken between 11am and 3pm.
  • Online – follow the link at the top of this page to complete a simple registration or ask next time you are at the surgery.

48 hours notice is required for all repeat medication.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Electronic Prescribing

The new NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) means all your repeat prescriptions can now be arranged and delivered direct to your chosen pharmacy - at no extra cost if you would like more information regarding this please contact the chemist of your choice for more information.
